• NAFTA Certificate of Origin is valid for one year.
• Supplier is sent a request each fall for the coming year – Must have a supplier NAFTA on file to qualify for duty reduction.
• The Certificate is a legal document and must be filled out correctly or it cannot be used.
• Every Certificate is reviewed and, if there are any discrepancies, the Supplier is contacted.
• Once validated the NAFTA certificate is used internally and also available for customers
